Hello, I'm Eileen Behan, your guest host this week.
Welcome to my home and kitchen.
In this program I'm inviting my book club friends to join me for a special dinner party.
It's all part of a project called For the Love of Food.
We all love food, but there's no question that we need to make better meal choices if we're going to
reverse the rising trend of diet-related diseases in our culture.
I'm not going to lecture my guests. I'm going to show them how to make a few simple changes to their diet
and encourage them to host their own gathering, passing on the same principles.
Now let's see. my guests are arriving now.

Keep it simple
What if my guests don't want to host a party ?
Nutrition Conversation Starters

Saturated Fat
Calories

questions to ask the guests:
How many of you plan to host your own dinner party?
Why or why not?
Do you think the strategy makes sense?
Any special concerns or questions?
END OF CONVERSATION:
Thank everyone for coming. and say something like,
Let me clear off the plates so we can get started on our book group discussion.

That is it for this special LiveFIT edition of New Hampshire Outlook.
I'm your guest host, registered dietician Eileen Behan.
I hope you got some ideas to host your own For the Love of Food dinner party.
This project is simple. and demonstrates a style of eating that takes the worry out of mealtimes.
By combining more fruits and vegetables with everyday menus and eating on a rgular, predictable schedule you will eat better.
Remember, it's all for the love of food. Pass it on.

NEW HAMPSHIRE OUTLOOK Air Date/Time: 8/19/2007
HOST: Eileen Behan Length: 25:00
Now, on a special LiveFIT edition of New Hampshire Outlook: you're invited to a dinner party, where this week's conversation is about the love of food. Hello, I'm Eileen Behan, your guest host this week. Welcome to my home and kitchen. I've invited my book club over for dinner tonight -- but in addition to talking literature -- we're going to be discussing a project of mine called "For the Love of Food." We all love food and there is no question that we need to make better choices when it comes to our eating habits, if we hope to reverse the negative effects of unhealthy eating in our cullture. But I'm not here to lecture. Instead, I'm going to show everyone how to make a few simple dietary changes that can go a long way.
